Putting Subscribe Info In Post Template Box

At the bottom of each of my posts, you will see a Feedburner Subscribe Box, a Follow Me On Bloglovin, and Follow On Feedly. I do not add this every time I post. There is an easier way where it will pop up automatically every time you post.

Get the info you need for what you want to have at the bottom of each of your posts. Open Compose, as if you're about to write a new post. (This info would include your own personal Feedburner subscribe info, as well as that of Bloglovin, Feedly, or whatever you want to put there.)

Then switch to HTML mode which is next to Compose. Copy the HTML.

Just so you understand, this is what is in my Post Template box. I've made it prominent by making the HTML yellow:

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<form style="border:1px solid #ccc;padding:3px;text-align:center;" action="http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify" method="post" target="popupwindow" onsubmit="window.open('http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=BrendasBlogTips', 'popupwindow', 'scrollbars=yes,width=550,height=520');return true"><p>Enter your email address:</p><p><input type="text" style="width:140px" name="email"/></p><input type="hidden" value="BrendasBlogTips" name="uri"/><input type="hidden" name="loc" value="en_US"/><input type="submit" value="Subscribe" /><p>Delivered by <a href="http://feedburner.google.com" target="_blank">FeedBurner</a></p></form>
<center><a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/en/blog/11463269" title="Follow Brenda's Blog Tips on Bloglovin"><img src="http://www.bloglovin.com/widget/bilder/en/widget.gif?id=11463269" alt="Follow on Bloglovin" border="0" /></a></center>
<center><a href='http://cloud.feedly.com/#subscription%2Ffeed%2Fhttp%3A%2F%2Ffeeds.feedburner.com%2FBrendasBlogTips'  target='blank'><img id="feedlyFollow" src="http://s3.feedly.com/img/follows/feedly-follow-rectangle-volume-big_2x.png" alt="follow us in feedly" width="131" height="56" /></a></center>

Then go to your Blogger Settings. In Settings click Posts and Comments.

At the top will be how many posts you want on a page. Below that will be Post template. Paste your HTML you've copied in here. Then Save.

Now go check this by opening up compose as if you're about to start a new post. Your info should be there at the top. Click it down so you can write your post. If you have problems with spacing, where you can't seem to click it down to write your post, you may have to add the <br /> I've mentioned for spacing before above the HTML part. That should give you a space to start clicking down.

If this doesn't work for you, let me know and I'll see if I can help.

This strategy is much easier than having to put all that information in every time you post.

That's it!

  1. Okay it is late tonight but I want to try this this week. I am so afraid of code. Where did you get the code for your blog as in where would I get the one for mine?
